Meet Diamond Hughes

Diamond Hughes is the oldest of three sets of twins. Born and raised in Chicago Illinois, her only chance at a little bit of peace was buried in the pages of her favorite fiction novels. It was easy to slip in and out of her reality, of assisting with the needs of her younger siblings, if she could sneak in a few pages.

Her long love for reading has now grown to include her creating those same stories with her own twist.

Although Diamond’s degree in Human development and family studies slightly differ from her passion as a writer and future best-selling author, Diamond’s experience growing up in the beautiful yet gritty streets of Chicago molded her at an early age to understand the importance of self-love, life, and loyalty.

Unbeknownst to Diamond, her degree coupled with life’s experience set the blueprint to follow her passion for helping others through her writings. By telling the stories of so many women from all walks of life.

Never in a million years could you tell 13-year-old Diamond that she would be in a position to have someone reading her work of art.

Hoping that the next generation of big sisters can find comfort enthralled in the pages of her very first novel. Now this avid reader turned writer has set her sights on releasing her debut novel in 2022.
